Some might be concerned about the appearance of a vented gas fireplace and the comparison to real flames. These fireplaces do produce a flame that looks as close as possible to a real fire as possible. While it may not have the unpredictability of a regular fire that changes in consistency, it maintains an accurate color and even burn throughout the entire time burnt. A vented gas fireplace is ideal for someone looking to get a fireplace without dealing with the hassle of keeping up with the maintenance of a regular fireplace.
